eDrawings is a lightweight file format that can contain 3D models and or 2D drawings. This file can be created directly from SOLIDWORKS or by the use of eDrawing Publisher from Autodesk Inventor®, Pro/ENGINEER® CATIA® V5, SIEMENS NX®, Solid Edge®, PTC CREO software and SketchUp®.
